Happy Easter

Happy Easter out there.

So excited to have a week off work and I'm road tripping to Sydney with my housemate!

It comes at an appropriate time as my one month ban ends on Thursday. So multiple Sydney purchases to come.

In the meantime this is my Easter present from the best Mum in history.....it's from a little store in Port Melbourne called diva scandanavia which sells only Scandanavian brands. The detail on the shoulders of this cardi is out of control and this pic below doesn't really do it justice. Outfit posts are on their way.

Outfit Post Attempt # 1

So I was supposed to be going to see a movie about surfing in Munich but alas house related set backs and here I am doing my first self portrait outfit post. I never realised how hard and awkward taking photos of yourself is. However, I do like the idea of posting outfits as I love reading about other bloggers and what they wear. Bottom line, I am persevering despite how awkward and cringe worthy the whole experience is (so please bear with me. Here it is.

Stop. Sweater Time.It's getting cold in Melbourne town, or cold according to me and I am starting to think about all things sweaters.  High waisted (insert anything) and sweaters.

Susie Bubble painted herself sick on this second hand sweater and I love. Do you see the Alexander Wang clutch I've been lusting after as well?

Hearting Celine

I'll admit, I have just recently discovered the brilliance that is french luxury brand Celine. It's refined, strong yet feminine and However, now that I am officially obsessed, here are some fast facts to keep all those who were also in the dark in the know.

When the head designer leaves their job, it's probably going to be for something better. So when Phoebe Philo left Chloe to work for Celine, one would assume that great things were about to happen....having looked further into Philo, her resume is outrageous.

It goes something like this: Design assistant to Stella McCartney at Chloe, takes over head designer from McCartney and then receives British Designer of the Year, takes a few years off and then gets appointed head designer of Celine. 

Two more facts about Celine that I can't let go and then I'm done. So it began as a children's footwear business in 1945 AND completely unrelated but just as interesting Michael Kors worked as head designer from 1997 to 2004. 

OK enough. Or one more?

Phoebe Philo is name checked in Kanye West's "Dark Fantasy". DONE

Wednesday Want

I have definitively decided I am not buying anything for a month. This is already proving problematic as all my tights have decide to fail on me in unison.  However. I will persevere and see if I can in fact avoid eBay/ASOS/etc/etc for 23 more days. That's the 28th.
