I went to Golden Plains and this is the mix we wanted to listen to on the drive down however my dodge computer didn't quite get it out quick enough. This is what it would have been (and what is now in my car). So let's call it the Friday Sugar-Sweet because sometimes 'Bottomz Up' is all you need to hear on a Friday afternoon..

3. Only Girl (in the World) - Rihanna
4. American Boy - Estelle & Kanye
5. Just a Dream - Nelly
6.  Dancing on my Own - Robyn
7. Born This Way - Lady GaGa
8. Somebody to Love - Justin Bieber (Usher Remix)
9. Bottomz Up - Trey Songz feat. Nicki Minaj
10. Off my Mind - Javelin
11. Cold War - Janelle Monae
12. Blue Blood - Foals

Bill Cunningham New york

Seriously want to see this!
"Documenting uptown fixtures (Wintour, Tom Wolfe, Brooke Astor, David Rockefeller who all appear in the film out of their love for Bill), downtown eccentrics and everyone in between, Cunningham's enormous body of work is more reliable than any catwalk as an expression of time, place and individual flair. In turn, Bill Cunningham New York is a delicate, funny and often poignant portrait of a dedicated artist whose only wealth is his own humanity and unassuming grace."

Coats

It's time to start thinking about Winter and I am on the hunt for the perfect coat to ride my bike and go to the footy. Preferably Khaki! Here's a few that I'm considering.

I also would really like a man style coat...

My debut street fashion shot.

Hopefully there will be more of these to come...

To see my real awkward self go to:

Wish I was there. Paris FW

I love street fashion bloggers obsession with Anna Dello Russo. She is amazing and I really like the way she now changes outfits two or more times a day in her limo just to please the street.  Here are some of my favourite street shots from Paris Fashion Week.

On a side note, I am loving this electric blue for Winter. I must say it is a bit of a hard sell after coming out of the neutral and pastels of the non-summer we had in Aus but I will persevere...stay tuned for my new electric blue Topshop heels coming in the post!

Missoni - Milan Fashion Week 2011

I'm not usually a big fan of Missoni, it's always been a bit too busy and colourful for my liking.  However, this season I have been proved wrong and these photos from the T Magazine Blog at the New York Times demonstrate this.  I love the muted colours and chunky knits that Missoni have done this season. As Hilary Alexander from the UK Telegraph writes,
"'Fairytale' is the appropriate word, for this was a collection in which magic and fantasy met with high-tech brilliance in the sweetest of marriages."

I think the move away from the classic 'zig zag' Missoni has been a wise one.

Oscars 2011

There's only really one dress to discuss from the Oscars. Michelle Williams in Chanel was absolute perfection on the night. I don't know who got to her from Sunday to after the Golden Globes, but thankgod they did!

It's a pity at how staged the whole affair has become. I personally would have preferred to see less celebs waiting in town cars for their cue and more inpromptu walks down the red carpet with perhaps Michelle sporting a fox fur stole? It seems all too straight and narrow. I mean if the most controversial item coming out of the Oscars is Helena Bonham Carter's outfit choice then we're probably clutching at straws. Aren't we?
